How have you all been? It’s been quite a while since I put up a random post aside stories. I hope we’re all doing great and there’s good news all around.
At first, I was unsure of whether to do this or not, since Adaezewrites is dedicated to my stories but after a blog reader, Chu, asked if I had any screenplays written by me, I’ve decided to share. Afterall, it’s still my writings, right?
One of the movies for which I wrote the screenplay, titled, ‘WIFE SHOPPING’ is going to be out soon. Now, I do not know whether the movie is for cinema or not but I’ll surely give you a heads-up when it I receive more information.
For now, here’s the poster for the movie. I wrote the screenplay but the story is by Alexandra who is also the movie producer. The movie was directed by Uduak Patrick Obong (He’s an amazing director and my school mate too…)
For many who are still wondering, I am an officially a screenwriter….yay! This means that from now on, expect to see many of my stories and screenplays on television and as webseries. I have just finished two seasons of a short but hilarious series and we start shooting in December (which means that I might have to take a break from the blog for a while but…don’t panic…let’s see.) Also, TEMPTED, a story/ screenplay written by me is coming out soon on Iroko TV. I advise that if you’ve not subscribed to the Iroko platform, do so now because I have two other movies for Iroko TV which are coming out as soon as TEMPTED debuts and a gazillion more after that.
Now, there’s this new series that I’d wanted to write for this blog but after careful consideration, I decided to take the screen route. So far, everyone that has read the first two episodes can’t wait to see the series however, I’m still shopping it around to producers. Once it’s done, I’ll let you guys know. I’m throwing my best shot at twists and suspense in this series and I hope it keeps everyone at the edges of their seats.
This is not an advertorial for Iroko TV but I love the platform. It is open to everyone anywhere in the world and this means that readers of adaezewrites.com living in the diaspora won’t have a problem watching any movies I’ve written.
Thank you all for your support, words of encouragement, criticism and many more. You guys are a huge part of my success story and God willing, when I win the best screenwriter of the year award, I’ll dedicate my award to all of you. You all have pushed and made me a better writer.
May God bless and elevate you all.
